Kruger National
Park Fly-In Safari
The enchanting Skukuza rest-camp is strategically situated
between the southern and central regions of the Kruger National
Park. A mere hour from Johannesburg on South African Express's
daily service, Skukuza is where your great African adventure
begins and a warm welcome waits.

DAY
1
Guests depart in the morning from Johannesburg International
Airport to Kruger International Airport. After a comfortable
45 minute flight, guests are met at the airport by highly
experienced guides and transferred to the rest-camp.
Upon arrival guests are given the opportunity
to settle into air-conditioned thatch rondawels, recently
upgraded and refurbished to 3-star standards. Lunch is enjoyed
in the restaurant and enough time remains for a nap or a stroll
through the camp. One is likely to encounter little wild animal
such as lizards and mongoose on such an expedition. A library,
museum and curio shop is at the disposal of all guests. A
late afternoon drive in the open game viewing vehicles follows
and guests will experience the abundance of wild animal out
in the Mpumalanga bushveld. Upon return guests are given the
opportunity to freshen up before enjoying a sumptuous dinner
in the exclusive Expressions of Africa Boma. Dinnertime lends
ample opportunity to mingle with other guests while also enjoying
cocktails.

DAY 2
The day starts with coffee served in the Boma and an early
morning game drive. Wildlife experienced on this early drive
is much different from what was enjoyed the previous day.
Breakfast is enjoyed at a camp along the way and a leisurely
drive back completes the early drive. Remaining guests will
retire to their rondawels for their choice of daily activities.
Relax in the boma around the log fire under the African star-lit
sky and experience a traditional South African barbecue.
DAY 3
After breakfast enjoy your last game drive, as you are transferred
to the Kruger International Airport for the flight to Johannesburg.

On arrival at Victoria Falls Airport, you will be met and
transfer to your hotel. Late this afternoon, enjoy a sunset
cruise on the Zambezi River. Departing an hour before sunset,
this all-inclusive cruise allows you the chance to watch the
African sun setting over the Zambezi River and to experience
a piece of Africa's mystery and wonder.
DAY 2
After visiting a unique African village that shows you the
tribal way of life in Zimbabwe, you will tour the Victoria
Falls, including the Devil's Cataract, Main Falls, Rain Forest
and Danger Point. Your afternoon is at leisure to explore

GARDEN ROUTE TOUR

DAY
1
Depart Cape Town and travel via Sir Lowry's Pass and the
apple growing country of Grabouw through to the historic Dutch
town of Swellendam an past Riversdal to Mossel Bay where you
can visit the famous Post Office Tree and lunch is enjoyed.
We continue to George, the gateway to the Garden Route and
on to Knysna. We enjoy dinner in the Boma and overnight at
the Phantom Forest Lodge. Located on a hilltop, with magnificent
views down the length of the lagoon, Phantom Forest is situated
in a unique setting amongst the fynbos and Afro-Montane forest.
The lodge accommodates guests in magnificent Tree Suites,
which have been uniquely positioned amongst the trees of the
forest. Each suite has its own lounge, bedroom, exquisite
bathroom and viewing deck.
DAY 2
Knysna has a rich and colourful history. Once the centre
of the forestry industry, Knysna is today a flourishing artist's
haven with an unique charm and character. The Knysna Heads
holds the Knysna lagoon within its embrace, which is a vast
seawater paradise that is a playground for fishermen, waterskiers,
yachtsman and divers. We enjoy a cruise on the lagoon to the
Featherbed Nature Reserve, where you are taken on a nature
walk and enjoy lunch. On return to the mainland, we head to
Plettenberg Bay. We enjoy dinner and overnight at the beautiful
Plettenberg Hotel, situated on a dramatic rocky headland overlooking
two swimming beaches with spectacular views across the Bay
to the river and mountains.
DAY 3
We depart in the morning to Bayethe Private Game Reserve,
situated near the Addo Elephant Park. Situated in the splendour
of the Eastern Cape's malaria-free bushveld, a mere 45 minutes
from Port Elizabeth, Bayethe is a natural extension to the
garden Route. Explore the valleys of the Buffalo River, which
winds its way through the Reserve, hidden by a forest of yellowwood
trees providing sanctuary for forest and riverine species
of birds. On safari in an open landrover spot giraffe, elephant
and buffalo, as well as herds of over 18 species of antelope.
Return to the luxury of Buffalo River Camp to take a cool
soak in your private plunge pool. In the evening savour Bayethe's
bush cuisine in the outdoor boma under a star-studded night
sky. Retire to one of the six luxury en suite tents which
are air-conditioned, hand have private decks with an outdoor
shower.
