Welcome Cocktail Party

This is included in the full congress fee and will take place in the ballroom on the first floor of the convention centre. Dress: Semi Formal (jacket & tie / smart casual / traditional)

SAFARI

Full Day            07:00 – 18:00            Cost: R 950

A full day safari to experience Africa’s wild animals.  Travel by coach over the scenic Bains Kloof Pass to the fruit growing region of Ceres.  After a welcome drink, you will board open-air 4X4 vehicles to view giraffe, rhino, zebra, buffalo, water buck, oryx, kudu, wildebeest, impala, sable antelope, the unique white springbok and more than 165 bird species.

Lunch & refreshments included.


TABLE MOUNTAIN (weather permitting) & WINELANDS

Full Day            08:00 – 17:00            Cost: R650

Begin the tour by traveling up Table Mountain in a unique revolving cable car to view the spectacular views of the Peninsula.  Following this we will travel to the famous Cape Winelands of Franschoek and Stellenbosch where you will enjoy a cellar tour and wine tasting including lunch at one of the wine estates.  You will also be given the opportunity to purchase some of South Africa’s fine wines before returning to your hotel.



OTHER TOURS

A variety of other extended tours of 2 to 4 days to the Kruger National Park or the Garden Route can be arranged depending on requirements. Should you be interested, please indicate on the booking form and you will be sent details. Costs can vary but would generally be in the area of:

Three days two nights Kruger National Park including safari drives in open 4x4s and all meals.
R5000 to R9000 per person excluding flights to Johannesburg.

Three days two nights tour along the Garden Route
— R4000 to R5000 per person including all meals and travel costs from Cape Town.

Monday, 8th May 2006 — Winelands Tour

Full Day         10:00 – 17:00         (R600)      

A breathtaking journey through the famous wine lands of the Cape.  Observe the wine making process from the vineyard to the bottle and visit the historical towns of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl including wine tasting and lunch at Spier Wine Estate with an opportunity to view the famous Spier cheetahs.


Tuesday, 9th May 2006 — Cape Peninsula and Cape Point

Full Day         09:00 – 16:30         (R600)      

Travel along the spectacular coastline of the Peninsula to Hout Bay for a boat trip to Seal Island and stroll round the quaint little fishing harbour. Then on along Chapman’s Peak enjoying the magnificent views of the rugged Atlantic coastline to Cape Point where the Atlantic and Indian oceans meet. Enjoy a relaxing lunch then travel back stopping off for a short visit to the Boulder’s Penguin Colony.


Wednesday, 10th May 2006 — Table Mountain (Weather Permitting)

Half Day         09:00 – 13:00        (R445)     

No visit to Cape Town can be complete without experiencing the unforgettable panoramic views from the top of Table Mountain. Seasoned travelers will tell you this rivals anything they have seen anywhere in the world.  On your return you have the option of being dropped off at your hotel or at the V & A Waterfront for an afternoon of shopping or visiting the myriad of attractions at this working harbour.
