Hotel accommodation can be booked along with your conference booking with SBS Conferences.

Accommodation will be booked for you by SBS at the selected hotel. You will be invoiced for your accommodation by the hotel. Please pay them directly.

Rooms have been reserved, for the duration of the congress, at special rates at a selection of hotels in close proximity to the congress centre (within walking distance). See map showing hotels within 500 meters and 1000 meters.

		Prices are per night and include breakfast but exclude 1% tourism levy. Please note: SBS, the congress organiser will invoice you for the congress fee, partners programme, post conference tours, and airport transfers. The hotels will invoice you direct for your accommodation reserved through SBS.

Hostels and Guesthouses

An old and established Backpackers, Voted No 1 in Africa, is in Long Street (see map) within 10 minutes walk of the Conference.  Single rooms cost R200, doubles R300 (per room) and dorm rooms R110. The vibe there is terrific.

For those with cars, the best value is a guesthouse. Guesthouses offer personal contact with locals, a pool, internet and quiet surroundings.  Prices range from R350 to R1000 per night.
