As software development is a process of both information creation and information gathering, software developers are constantly searching for the pertinent information to solve their problems at hand. The information needs of software developers range from those related to code (writing, changing, fixing, communicating code) to process (design) and people (colleagues). SUITE is a workshop series that seeks to understand and find solutions to address various information needs of software developers. SUITE 2010 will provide a forum for interested researchers to discuss high quality research on the human aspects as well as the core technical issues related to the information needs in software development.

The first edition of SUITE was held at ICSE 2009 in Vancouver. SUITE 2010 will emphasize open issues identified in SUITE 2009, and aims to continue building an active network of people interested in the research area that SUITE addresses.
